Families United in Newtown is planning its 2019 Winter Benefit Concert, scheduled this year for Saturday, December 28, at 6:30 pm. This event, which has no admission charge but requests a freewill donation instead, is being hosted by the cosponsoring Newtown United Methodist Church.

A musical event that was to double as a fundraiser for The Resiliency Center of Newtown earlier this month, postponed due to weather, has been rescheduled for Friday, January 3.

The faith based feature film "Full Count" will have a special free screening on Thursday, December 26, at 4 pm, at Edmond Town Hall. The event will also include a Meet & Greet before and after the screening with lead actor John Paul Kakos.
