NORTHPORT, N.Y. — On November 2, the Northport Historical Society Antiques Show will return with some 60 selected exhibitors setting up at the Laurel Avenue School, 158 Laurel Avenue, between Main Street and Route 25A, from 10 am to 5 pm.

Considered the “Grande Dame” of the Long Island antiques show circuit, according to promoter Elias Pekale Shows Ltd, this premiere indoor Long Island antique event generates excited anticipation among the many avid antiquers, collectors and interior designers who come from all over Long Island and the surrounding area.

“Customer enthusiasm and buying last year was great. And this year’s show is setting up to be another winner as we introduce new quality exhibitors to Long Island,” promoter Sheila Pekale said.

Familiar exhibitors and new friends will offer cottage, as well as Eighteenth and Nineteenth Century furniture, estate and vintage costume jewelry, linens, first edition books, Americana, folk art, Depression glass, English china, transfer ware and French porcelain. Also to be seen will be gentlemen’s sporting goods, prints and paintings, Roseville, Weller and McCoy. The variety of merchandise displayed ensures capturing the attention of any showgoer.

The society’s museum shop will also be featured with a booth, which is a longtime favorite. As usual, new consignments are put aside to be a distinctive part of the show. Proceeds from the show are used to support exhibits, programs and events sponsored by the Northport Historical Society and museum.
