To the Editor:

Nonpartisan analysis shows that unless this state reverses course soon we will continue to have deficits of almost $3 billion in the next two fiscal years, meaning another huge tax increase after the election. Mitch Bolinsky will continue to demand the positive changes necessary to make the state competitive again, starting with the reduction of dozens of ineffective taxes, as well as eliminating unnecessary spending, regulation, and unfunded mandates that have made Connecticut dead last of all the states in economic growth. Newtown residents have been hit especially hard. One look at the housing market with its declining home values but increasing property taxes says it all. If you feel that this state has been managed well under the current party in power, then vote for Mitch's opponent. We will then get more of the same disastrous fiscal policies. However, if you feel that significant change in the direction of the state economy is required immediately, then Mitch is the overwhelming choice. That's why I wholeheartedly endorse his re-election for state representative.
