Vivian Van Leuvan, 77, of Templestowe, Victoria, Australia, beloved wife of Ray Van Leuvan, passed away peacefully on June 17.
She was born in New York on January 12, 1923 and lived in Newtown from 1970 to 1984. She was an active member of Welcome Wagon. Vivian loved to play bridge and gave lessons to many members.
She is survived by two sons, Bill of the United States and Bob of Australia; two daughters-in-law, Diane and Pat; five grandchildren, Andrew, Peter, Paul, Phoebe, and Emily; and three great-grandchildren, Anthony, Sabrina, and Erin.
A service was held at the United Church in Templestowe on June 23. Private cremation followed.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Cancer Society.
