Two Coyotes Wilderness School Announces Fall Program Offerings

Two Coyotes Wilderness School announces a range of fall offerings. Two Coyotes Wilderness School is a nonprofit organization with locations in Newtown, West Granby, and Killingworth.

.A new weekly wilderness-based educational program, "Forest Learning Program," will be offered on Wednesdays, September 5, 2018 to July 4, 2019 and on Fridays, September 7, 2018 to June 6, 2019, from 9 am to 3 pm both days. According to Two Coyotes, once a week, Forest Learning students will spend the day in nature rather than attending their regular school. The Coyote Village For Homeschoolers and Fire Keepers Teen Program will be offered weekly on Thursdays at Sticks & Stones Farm, September 13 to November 15, from 9 am to 3 pm. An optional overnight event is set for October 25. The registration deadline for the program is August 30. The program is held for three age groups - ages 5 to 7, ages 8 to 12, and ages 13 to 16.

The Coyote Pups Parent and Child Program will be offered weekly in morning sessions, 9 am to noon, on Thursdays, September 13 to November 15. An optional overnight event is set for October 25. The program is designed for parents with children between ages 1 and 5.

Two Coyotes is also holdings its Wildwood Rangers program for ages 9 to 14 on September 16, October 14, and November 11. The registration deadlines for the dates are two weeks before the program.

The wilderness school has also scheduled its Wild Days School Holiday Program for November 6, Election Day, 9 am to 3 pm, for ages 5 to 12. The registration deadline is October 23.
