Independent ballroom dance instructors Kristen Prall and Alexey Gavrilov will present "Trip The Light Fantastic," a ballroom dance event, at Edmond Town Hall, 45 Main Street, on Saturday, August 12.

Longtime competitors themselves, the pair is choreographing a show that will feature a broad range of dance performances in a loose narrative that will celebrate the many expressions of ballroom dance in New York City.

Those planning to attend are encouraged to dress to impress. The performance will be followed with a social dance with the performers, inspired by the legendary Savoy Ballroom, in the town hall's Alexandria Room. An after party will also be part of "Trip The Light Fantastic."
