To The Editor:Vanishing of the Bees

Protect Our Pollinators would like to thank the following for their contributions to Newtown's celebration of National Pollinator Week:

1. The Edmond Town Hall Board of Managers for donation of movie tickets for the Poster Challenge participants

2. The Big Y for a donation for refreshments at the showing of the movie

3. The Booth Library for co-sponsoring the movie event, displaying the pollinator posters, and supporting a gathering of the young artists

4. First Selectman Pat Llodra for issuing the Pollinator Proclamation and for speaking with the children at that gathering and last but not least,

5. The nineteen students who created such impressive and thoughtful art work. That display will be up through July at the Booth Library, right inside the back entry. Don't miss it - it will make you smile!
