Technology Council Slates

Two Events For Fall

EAST HARTFORD — The Connecticut Technology Council is hosting two events this fall: the 2009 Cantor Colburn Innovation Pipeline Awards, also known as the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Summit, on September 17 in New Haven and the 2009 UHY 2009 Tech Top 40, October 22.

The Innovation Pipeline Awards are now in their third year and recognize emerging technology companies which are judged to have an outstanding technology product or service which is either in beta or is already being sold in the marketplace. More than 70 companies will be featured in a mini trade show or poster fair from 4:30 to 7:30 pm.

CTC still has exhibit space for technology companies that are interested in participating in a poster fair and that meet criteria.

Awards will be presented in eight categories ranging from the Most Promising New Software Product to the Most Promising New Green Tech Company. Tickets are $50 and $55 for this evening event at the Omni hotel in New Haven.

The 2009 UHY LLP Tech Top 40 will be held the evening of October 22 from 5 to 8 pm at the Chevrolet Theater in Wallingford and will recognize Connecticut’s fastest growing technology companies on the basis of revenue growth.

The event combines a mini trade show spotlighting the products of these Tech Top 40 companies with an awards program that recognize the fastest growing tech company in each of six verticals.

A buffet dinner will be served. Tickets are $95 for members and $125 for nonmembers.

For more information, or to register for these events, contact the CTC at 860-289-0878 or email info@ct.org.
