Edmond Town Hall Theatre will host a special return engagement of the recent Tom Hanks drama Sully, December 18-23. The film's return is part of a busy weekend for the historic building at 45 Main Street.

Sully tells the story of the heroic emergency landing of US Airways Flight 1549 on the Hudson River in 2009 by airline pilot Captain Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger (Hanks), and the resulting investigation of the incident by the National Transportation Safety Board. Released in September, the film also stars Aaron Eckhart and Laura Linney.

The film was featured at Edmond Town Hall during the first week of December. The ETH Board of Managers has decided to bring it back for six shows between December 18 and December 23.

In addition to the return of Sully, the theater will also host special offerings this weekend of the 1954 feature White Christmas.  Screenings on Sunday, December 18, at 4 and 7 pm, are being done free of charge.

Edmond Town Hall will also be hosting performances by students of Sabrina's Encore Productions on December 17. Performances of A Christmas Carol, the Musical are scheduled at 3 and 8 pm on Saturday.
