Songs Of Thought & Inspiration, Sunday
Soprano Michele McBride will perform âSongs of Thought and Inspirationâ at Trinity Episcopal Church, 31 Main Street, on Sunday, February 27.
Her recital will begin at 4 pm, will last approximately 90 minutes, and will be followed by a reception.
The program will include 12 poems of Emily Dickinson set to music of Aaron Copland, and Motet k 165 by Mozart.
Ms McBride is a former New York City Opera principal artist, a current lead soprano in the choir of Trinity Episcopal Church, and an adjunct professor at Western CT State University.
She will be accompanied by accompanied by the pianist Susan Anthony Klein, who is the organist for Salem Covenant Church in Washington (Conn.) and the pianist for Newtown Choral Society.
