The discovery nine years ago of a homicide victim hidden in the crawl space beneath the summer cottage of a family in Canada ultimately led to the first book by a Connecticut resident. Deborah Vadas Levison, the daughter of the cottage owners, will be in Newtown later this month to lead a program on her book, "The Crate: A Story of War, A Murder, and Justice."
