(UPDATED) Despite to the coronavirus pandemic, this year’s Fill The Fire Truck for FAITH Food Pantry event will be presented.

On Sunday, November 15, at 4 pm, local organizations will host a free lecture over Zoom on “The Four Freedoms: From Roosevelt to Norman Rockwell.” The lecture will coincide with a public art project to be displayed at Newtown Community Center.

For the second time this month, local residents have the opportunity to have confidential documents shredded.

Girl Scouts of Newtown announced it will host an Open House at Fairfield Hills this Sunday, October 18, at 1 pm.

With parents being asked to keep things extra safe this Halloween season this is a good time to also remind residents that there are thematic special events also being planned in Newtown this weekend and beyond. There are safe special events across the state as well.
