In honor of April as Poetry Month, C.H. Booth Library has launched its first Poetry Walk at Fairfield Hills Campus. A public reception is planned for this Sunday afternoon.

Both events are free, with donations requested for the church’s Little Pantry.

The Town & Country Garden Club of Newtown will host the owner of Mike’s Beehives in Torrington as its next guest speaker.

Newtown will be home to a special performance of what many consider one of the greatest works of sacred music ever written.

Newtown Town Historian, Ben Cruson will host a special presentation, “The Mysterious Mary Hawley,” April 21 at C.H. Booth Library.
