Art Show Planned

SOUTHBURY — The Hearth at Southbury, a premier senior living community located at 655 Main Street South in Southbury, will host a special art show and sale the first weekend in November.

A gala on Friday, November 4, from 7 to 10 pm, will be the “kick off” to the art show weekend. Tickets are $35 each and include wine, hearty appetizers, music, a silent auction and a chance to meet the artists. Tickets are available at The Hearth at Southbury; call 203-267-7100.

Art will remain on view Saturday and Sunday, November 5-6, from 10 am to 4 pm each day, free of charge at The Hearth.

Proceeds from the weekend benefit Safe Haven of Greater Waterbury, which provides emergency shelter and free comprehensive support services to victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.

This is the second year The Hearth has hosted an art show and sale for Safe Haven.
