The next meeting of The Genealogy Club of Newtown will be held in the lower meeting room of C.H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street, on Wednesday, April 11.

The guest speaker this month will be Kay Sheldon, from the Swedish Ancestry Research Association (SARA) of Worcester, Mass. Ms Sheldon is the founder and past president of the Club.

Ms Sheldon, who has been researching her "pesky" Swedish ancestors and many other Swedish ancestries for over 30 years, will offer a program she calls "I Found Out I'm A Swede - What Do I Do Now?"

She will explain the steps you can take to trace a family's Swedish history, including how to get started, and how to find those elusive records.

Genealogy Club of Newtown meetings start promptly at 7 pm, but guests are invited to arrive early to meet with other researchers and enjoy some light refreshments.

Reservations are not needed, but additional information is always available by calling Bea Morgan at 203-304-1861.
