Patricia Ann Lago, 76, died January 13, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport, a daughter of the late Ella and John Yranski, she had been a lifelong Fairfield resident, prior to relocating to Wilmington, N.C., in 2009 to be with her loving companion John Ogrinc.

Her sons and their wives, Michael and Dina Lago of Newtown, Kevin and Cheryl Lago of Fairfield, and Donald Lago of Norwalk, survive her. She also leaves behind several grandchildren, for whom she seldom missed a concert/recital/sporting event, Jim, Mike, Kristen, Katie, and Jack. Her beloved siblings, Michael Yranski of Fairfield, Jo Ann Barton and her husband, John, of Sunset Beach, N.C., and Phyllis Walenciak of Palm Harbor, Fla.; her niece; and her great-nephew also survive her.

Ms Lago was a phenomenal chef, talented gardener, and, above all else, a devout family woman to her three sons.

Family and friends are invited to rejoice in the memories of a truly remarkable woman at a Mass of Christian Burial that will be at 10 am on Thursday, February 23, at St Anthony of Padua Church, 149 South Pine Creek Road, Fairfield. Burial will be private.

Memorial donations can be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org. It was an organization for which she had a particular fondness.
