Occupation: I’m the owner of Mom-Made, LLC. I make all natural cookies, brownies, and fudge out of my fully certified home kitchen in Sandy Hook. I don’t put in any artificial colors or flavors, or use hydrogenated oils or shortening. All of the cookies are made to order.

Family: I am married to Robert, who works at Praxair in Danbury. We have four children, Anthony, who is 12; Rose is 10; George is 8; and Joseph is 6. They all go to Newtown schools.

Pets: We have two dogs, Stella and Billy. Billy is a cocker spaniel. He’s 13 years old and still does what he knows he’s not supposed to as soon as we turn our backs. Stella we adopted from the Stamford Pound. She is 6 years old. We also have two doves, Ollie and Lula, a play on “alleluia.” And we have a fish named Mister.

How long have you lived in Newtown? We moved here from Dutchess County, N.Y., in 1999 to be near my family.

What do you like to do in your free time? We hang out as a family mainly, and go to the beach whenever we can. I do Sudoku puzzles and I like to read whenever I get the chance. We try to do jigsaw puzzles together, but Stella likes to eat the pieces. I even bake on my free time, though. I really enjoy it.

Do you have a favorite book? The coffee table book It’s A Wonderful Life, about the movie. I pick it up and page through it when I can.

Do you have a favorite travel destination? We go to the beaches in Rhode Island and we go fishing by Jones Beach in Long Island. My parents have a home up in Vermont, so we go there, too.

What is the best thing about Newtown? The different types of people. There are people from all over; there are people who grew up here. There are a lot of people with different interests. I think it’s good for my kids to see that there are a lot of different kinds of people here and in the world.

Who do you most admire? My parents. There are six children in my family and my parents have given us unconditional love and a strong foundation throughout our lives. They’re there for us and supportive of us. Even with my business, they are always there to help out. I hope I can do that for my kids.

Do you have a personal philosophy? Treat others the way you would want to be treated. Do the right thing. If everybody did that, they wouldn’t be fighting in wars.

Do you have guilty pleasure? Whenever I have a chance to sit down and watch an I Love Lucy rerun and eat chocolate and not be disturbed, that’s a dream.
