To Host Tag Sale

The Newtown High School Choral Parents Group will present a group tag sale Saturday, February 27. It will be in the cafeteria of the high school, 12 Berkshire Road, from 9 am until 3 pm.

Proceeds from the event will help defray the costs of the NHS Choral students who are traveling to Canada next month. While in Quebec, the students — who range from sophomores to seniors — will be performing at St Anne de Beaupré and Basilique Notre-Dame de Montréal.

“We have a number of families participating, so we should have everything including the kitchen sink,” said Jackie DeFlumeri, one of the event organizers.
