Botsford Fire Rescue Assistant Chief Pete Blomberg was crossing Church Hill Road on foot Monday night, on his way to the Board of Fire Commissioners annual dinner meeting, when he was struck by a passing vehicle. The longtime resident with approximately 50 years in the fire service died from his injuries.
