The public is invited to attend the swearing in ceremony for all newly elected officials, Sunday, November 19, at 4 pm, in the Edmond Town Hall Theatre, 45 Main Street.

The Reverend Matthew Crebbin, Newtown Congregational Church, will give the invocation, and an introduction of the town's Poet Laureate Lisa Schwartz will follow.

Master of Ceremonies for the afternoon will be William J. Brimmer, Jr, introducing guest speaker Senator Tony Hwang.

Installation of elected officials will be by US Representative Elizabeth Esty, followed by remarks from incoming First Selectman Daniel Rosenthal.

Elected officials sworn in on November 19 will take office, by Charter, on December 1.

Refreshments will be served following the ceremony.
