Mr and Mrs Robert Freeman

Theresa Marie Edo, daughter of Marie and Bob Smith, Newtown and of Alan and Millie Edo, Milford, and Robert Allen Freeman, son of Bill and Donna Freeman, Brookfield, exchanged wedding vows May 7 at St Mark Church in Stratford. Father Joseph “Skip” Karcsinski officiated.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Alan Edo. She wore a strapless princess-line gown of organza and satin with crystal and pearl beading and a cathedral train. Her bouquet was of red Charlotte roses.

Matrons of honor were Laura Sturtevant and Sue Monschein, both of Milford. They were dressed in apple red gowns of georgette with three tier hems and spaghetti straps. They carried red Charlotte roses and red Gerbera daisies.

Kristen Collins, Newton, Mass. and Katie Honer Kamp, Arlington, Va. attended the bride. Their gowns were an apple red georgette sleeveless drape-front and a chiffon halter dress with embroidered empire waist, also in apple red.

Best men was Joe Berardi, Hingham, Mass., and Prash Jayaraj, Needham, Mass. Joe Edo, Milford, and Mark Sanders, Somerville, Mass., served as ushers.

A wedding celebration followed the ceremony at Fox Hill Inn in Brookfield.

The bride is a graduate of St Joseph High School, Providence College, and Boston University. She is a newspaper reporter for MetroWest Daily News in Framingham, Mass.

The bridegroom graduated from Brookfield High School, Providence College, and Boston College. He is a development manager for Fidelity Investments in Boston.

The couple is at home in Dorchester, Mass., following a wedding trip to Italy.
