Mr And Mrs Jonathan P. Ackerman

Leslie Ann Sturdevant and Jonathan Paul Ackerman were married on February 5 at the Tappan Hill, in Tarrytown, N.Y., with the Rev Steven P. Gordon officiating.

Leslie Ackerman is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Richard L. Sturdevant of Newtown. She graduated from Newtown High School, the University of Pittsburgh, and also studied at the University of Salamanca, Spain. She is a regional sales manager for Electronics for Imaging.

Jonathan Ackerman is the son of Mr and Mrs Michael Ackerman of Mendham, N.J. He graduated from Bucknell University and is an associate publisher at Medical World Communications.

The bride was attended by Maria Arfaras McMahon as matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Lori Frisina, Carolyn Lynch, Amy Branon-Sturdevant, sister-in-law of the bride, Karen Poisson, and Tunde Ilkanich.

Flower girls were Casey Scholl, cousin of the bride, and Mackenzie Mantione, niece of the groom.

The groom was attended by Sean Hamer as best man.

Groomsmen were Timothy Ackerman, brother of the groom, Michael Sturdevant, brother of the bride, A. Clayton Romweber, III, and Robert Wooley.

The bride wore a gown of white satin mystique with white fox trim. The gown featured an off the shoulder neckline, long straight sleeves with cuffs, and an A-line skirt with white fox hem. Her veil was off the face. She carried a bouquet of white lilies.

The attendants wore pewter colored gowns and carried bouquets of iris, red roses, and white lilies.

The flower girls wore red velvet dresses with long sleeves trimmed with white fur. They carried baskets of iris, red roses, and lily petals. Their headpieces were of white lilies.

After a wedding trip to France and Italy, the couple is living in Lebanon, N.J.
