Mary Ellen Reiner Suales, 57, of Prescott Valley, Ariz., died on December 8, 2016, at home peacefully after losing her battle with cancer. She was born at Danbury Hospital to Dorothy J. (Collier) and Robert F. Reiner on December 3, 1959.

She was a former Newtown resident and attended St Rose Catholic School and Newtown High School. She was married to Aurelio Suales on June 6, 2009, in Winnemucca, Nev. She worked many places and loved everything she did. She was involved for many years with Striders Drum Corps, Civil War reenactments, and most recently participated in SCA Medieval and Renaissance reenacting in Arizona.

Besides her mother, her husband Aurelio Suales of Prescott Valley, Ariz.; eldest daughter Teresa M. DelaRosa and husband Juan DelaRosa of St Petersburg, Fla.; younger daughter Jaclyn F. Kraemer and husband Jonathan Kraemer of Kenneth City, Fla.; siblings Robert A. Reiner, Barbara Jean Beers and husband Darrell, all of Danbury, and John W. Reiner and wife Cheryl of New Fairfield; one grandchild Lilliana DelaRosa; nieces, nephews, and many other relatives of Prescott Valley, Ariz. survive her. Her father Robert F. Reiner predeceased her.

The Reiner family wishes to extend an invitation to all friends and family. A reception to follow at a local establishment.

A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, May 27, from 10 am to noon at Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown.
