Linda Lutters D'Amato

Linda Lutters D’Amato, 72, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Matthew J. D’Amato, died August 26 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was born in Bridgeport and was an area resident all of her life.

Her loving children Dana L. Nuzzo, and her husband Frank, of Newtown and Allan P. D’Amato, and his wife Lisa, of Trumbull; the joys of her life, her six grandchildren, Matthew, Anthony, and John D’Amato, and Alexandra, Carley, and Christopher Nuzzo; one sister, Amy Lutters of Shelton; a niece and a nephew and one grandnephew survive Mrs D’Amato. In addition to her husband, a daughter, Loren D’Amato, and a sister, Dale Lutters Lerner, predeceased her.

She was a retired paraprofessional for the Redding School District, where she also served as president of the paraprofessionals union. She was a lover of animals, especially horses, and was a member of the Doberman Pinscher Club.

She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. Mrs D’Amato will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services took place August 31. Burial was in Oak lawn Cemetery in Fairfield.
