STAMFORD — The Connecticut Association for Children and Adults with Learning Disabilities (CACLD) is sponsoring a conference entitled “Learning Disabilities and Attention Deficits Through the Lifespan” on Saturday, October 13.

Fred J. Epstein, MD, will be the keynote speaker at the conference. Dr Epstein is the chairman for the Department of Neurosurgery at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York and a founder and director at the Institute for Neurology and Neurosurgery. He will speak on “Learning Disabilities: A Different Perspective.” Dr Epstein offers a unique and personal outlook on learning disabilities and attention deficits and how they shaped his academic and professional careers.
