Joseph V. Procaccini, 91, of Fairfield died October 25. His loved ones say he joined his wife Antonietta in heaven. He was born July 11, 1926.

Mr Procaccini leaves four children and their spouses, Joseph Procaccini and Gisela Matisons of Newtown, Vincent and Marianne Procaccini of Fairfield, Anthony Procaccini of Astoria, N.Y., and Susan Procaccini and Jesse Herrero of Ossining, N.Y.; two grandchildren and their spouses, Tim and Dana Procaccini and Steven and Lindsay Procaccini; and three great-grandchildren.

Mr Procaccini was predeceased by his wife of 66 years, Antonietta (Cerrato) Procaccini, in 2015.

A superbly talented and formally trained pianist, he accompanied his father, a flutist and accordionist, in many concerts and was also a soloist and accompanist. Mr Procaccini eventually became a respected piano tuner-technician and an accomplished tradesman. All who knew him will miss his unique sense of humor.

Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, November 2, from 4 to 7 pm, in the Parente-Lauro Funeral Home, 559 Washington Avenue, Bridgeport.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
