The Bee Publishing Company offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. We will reopen on Friday, July 5.

Readers are reminded that editorial and advertising deadlines for the July 5, 2019 issue of The Newtown Bee will be affected.

Items for Education must be received by 5 pm Friday, June 28.

Items for Sports must be received by noon on Monday, July 1.

Items for the Business, Enjoy, Health, Real Estate, and Religion sections must be received by 5 pm Monday, July 1.

Deadlines for the general news pages (A section), including letters to the editor and for calendar listings, will be 3 pm Tuesday, July 2.

In addition, calls for the Bee's Buck challenge going into this week's print edition June 28, 2019) will have to be done 24 hours early — by Tuesday, July 2, at 10 am.

Real Estate display advertising and regular display advertising information must be received by 10 am Friday, June 28.

In-column Real Estate Classified ads must be received by Monday, July 1, at noon. The deadline for regular Classifieds is 1 pm Tuesday, July 2.
