The Seventh Annual Halloween Walk, hosted by Sandy Hook Organization for Prosperity (SHOP), will take place Saturday, October 28, from 11 am to 2 pm, in Sandy Hook Center.

Local children are invited to attend with parent or other adult, in their best, scariest, funniest, and creative Halloween outfits. Businesses within Sandy Hook will scare up a delightful array of in-store candy and other treats for kids dressed in costume.

The Sandy Hook business district offers a safe environment for children to trick-or-treat during the daylight hours. Decorations will be up and the businesses will be ready for the little pirates and princesses.

Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire & Rescue members will be among those participating. In addition to offering treats for costumed children, members will be accepting donations for FAITH Food Pantry.
