A rambunctious group was making the dance floor jump to the music of Bob Mell, Thursday afternoon, October 30, at the Newtown Senior Center, 14 Riverside Road. Members and friends of the Newtown Senior Center celebrated Halloween with snacks and plenty of dance music, dressed in festive costumes. The annual event drew a large crowd.

Valerie Blasi, dressed as a cowgirl, watches from the sidelines.
A group of dancers fill the dance floor, led by Mary Hanlon, left, in a flowing purple cape and Louella Dwyer in a peacock-themed cape and mask. “Train Conductor” Maryann Zacchea and Sylvia Battista dance, to their right, and Marianne Muskus and Janice Garten can be seen in the background.
Marianne Corbo, dressed as a flapper, and Beverly Panettiere share a laugh and a dance.
A crazy pink wig for Heidi Roesch and a pointed witch hat for Elizabeth Condit has them in the mood for Halloween fun.
