The Newtown Bridle Lanes Association Frost on the Pumpkin Pace, originally scheduled for Sunday, October 29, has been postponed because of anticipated high winds and rain, NBLA officials announced on the afternoon of Thursday, October 26. It will take place at the same location and time, on Mt Nebo Road, with the pace from 9 am to noon, and buffet lunch 11 am to 2 pm.

This special pace encourages riders to ride in costume. Prizes are given for best costumed team, the oldest horse and rider combination, and the "Peanut Award" goes to the youngest rider. Cost is $65 for NBLA members and $80 for nonmembers. Junior Rider: NBLA member $40, non-member $50. Payment is required in advance of pace day. Any payments outstanding on Pace day will have a $10 charge added per rider.
