To the Editor:

Having worked with Maureen [Crick Owen] for over 15 years on the Borough Zoning Commission, I highly recommend her for selectman. Her broad town and statewide experience and her insistence on inclusion of all residents in the processes of our government makes her the best choice. She is dedicated to fair treatment, transparency, and clear, open communications in all her endeavors. Maureen knows the "rules of the road" for town government. She knows what needs to be done, when, and by whom. This experience and her vision will promote Newtown towards the type of growth we need and want. A vision for Newtown to protect and promote the historic and rural nature of our town, while embracing the economic development needed to see our town flourish.

November 7, for a successful future for Newtown, vote for Maureen Crick Owen.
