EverWonder February Special Events
"Healthyville" has arrived atÃÂ EverWonderÃÂ Children's Museum, through February 20. This traveling exhibit from Stepping Stones Museum promotes healthy choices. Visitors will shop at the Good Foods Market, use a pulse meter, balance food choices with physical activity, practice brushing and flossing a big mouth, and more.
The Yellow Art Lab is full of love this month. Children are invited to make a heart puppet.
The Blue Science Lab is recognizing National Children's Dental Health Month with teeth games.
Story Lab for Young Explorers will meet at 10:30 am on Tuesdays, February 6, 13, 20, and 27; and Thursday, February 22. The 30-minute program of STEM-themed stories, activities, and crafts takes place in theÃÂ EverWonderÃÂ classroom. Parents must stay with their children during the program, included free with museum admission.
Special Events
Groundhog Day is Friday, February 2. Join museum educators and volunteers in theÃÂ EverWonderÃÂ Classroom for a fun shadow experiment all day.
Join museum staff on Valentine's Day, February 14, for a watercolor heart craft with a science element. Museum guests will also be invited to make Conversation Hearts dance.
A WonderGirls Coding and Robotics Workshop returns Saturday, February 17, from 10 am until noon. Girls between the ages of 8 and 11 can register for this free coding and robotics workshop with Scratch and Lego Wedo and get excited about STEM. Reservations should be done soon; space is limited.
A special Presidential presentation will be ongoing Presidents' Day, Monday, February 19.
The museum is usually closed on Mondays, but will be open for the holiday - when most schools will be closed - from 10 am until 5 pm.
The museum, 31 Pecks Lane, is open Tuesdays through Saturdays, 10 am to 5 pm, and Sundays, 11 am to 5 pm. Admission is $7 per person; children 12 months and under and museum members are free.
