The Newtown Public Schools district shared its schedule of events for the last week of the 2016-17 school year in a release on June 6.

For the last week of school, June 12 to 15, for the Newtown school district, June 12 is a full day of school, and June 13, 14, and 15 are early dismissal days for students. Visit newtown.k12.ct.us for each school's early dismissal time.

Newtown High School graduation is Tuesday, June 13, at 4 pm, at the O'Neill Center located on the campus of Western Connecticut State University, 43 Lake Avenue Extension, Danbury.

Newtown Middle School will have two moving-up ceremonies, Wednesday, June 14, which will be held in the Newtown High School gymnasium. The first ceremony will begin at 4:30 pm and the second at 7:15 pm. Tickets are required for all ceremonies.
