Dunkin’ Donuts Scholarships

HARTFORD — The Connecticut Association of Schools and Dunkin’ Donuts Franchises of Connecticut recently unveiled a $50,000 scholarship program to benefit Connecticut high school seniors.

The Connecticut Dunkin’ Donuts Franchise Scholarship Program, administered by the Connecticut Association of Schools, will award 50 separate $1,000 scholarships to “well-rounded: high school seniors.” Candidates should excel academically, demonstrate leadership qualities, and have been involved in activities within their schools and communities.

“With the rising costs of higher education, the traditional means of paying for college — financial aid, student loans, and part-time jobs — is often not enough to cover tuition, fees, and technology needed for school,” noted John Coughlin, chairman of the Dunkin’ Donuts Hartford Advertising Committee.

Students interested in applying may pick up an application form at Dunkin’ Donuts locations throughout Connecticut. Applications must be postmarked by April 30 for consideration.
