Dirty Dancing Sing-Along Movie Screening: A Woman's Club Fundraising Event

Newtown Woman's Club will have the Alexandria Room of Edmond Town Hall feeling like the Catskills on Saturday, April 16, when they host a Dirty Dancing Sing-Along Movie Screening.

The event will run from 7 to 9 pm. There will be singing, food and lots of fun.

Cost for the NWC fundraising event is $25 per person, which includes the film, food and fun. Guests are welcome to BYOB.

Tickets are available at C.H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street, or by calling 203-426-5532. Edmond Town Hall is at 45 Main Street.

For 45 years, the Newtown Woman's Club, GFWC has been a part of the community, providing volunteer service as a member of both the Greater Federation of Women's Clubs of Connecticut and the General Federation of Women's Clubs. Any woman who is interested in community service is invited to join. The club schedules a luncheon meeting on the third Thursday of each month, from September through May.
