Danielle Zito and Alex Fedorov

Peter and Inna Federov of Newtown announce the engagement of their son, Alex Federov, to Danielle Zito, daughter of Cynthia Durand and Steven Zito of Holtsville, N.Y.

Mr Federov, now a resident of Brookline, Mass., is a 1998 graduate of Newtown High School. He is also a graduate (Class of 2003) of Northeastern University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in graphic design. He is an entrepreneur and web designer for Fresh Tille Soil, a business solutions company.

Ms Zito is also a resident of Brookline. She graduated from Sachem High School, on Long Island, in 2000. She then graduated from Northeastern University in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in behavioral neuroscience. She is currently in Boston College master’s program studying to be a psychiatric nurse practitioner, and in scheduled to graduate in May 2007.

Alex surprised Danielle with a proposal while the couple was vacationing in Santa Barbara, Calif. A September 2007 wedding is being planned.
