Cynthia M. Fulton, 68, of Sandy Hook, died peacefully June 20, in Danbury Hospital with her family by her side. She was the wife of Robert A. Fulton, Sr. She was born August 9, 1949, in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Walter C. and Frances (Kizevich) Van Wart.

Mrs Fulton was a long-time resident of Sandy Hook.

Besides her devoted husband of 50 years, her three loving children and their spouses, Teri and Richard Millican of North Carolina, Robert, Jr, and April Fulton of Plymouth, and Brian and Lori Fulton of Plymouth; two sisters, Barbara Wallenta of Southbury and Beverly Studer of Bristol; and nine grandchildren, Stephanie, Kristina, Alyssa, Shawn, Jocelyn, Scott, Jordan, Matthew, and Audry survive her.

Calling hours are Sunday, June 24, from 2 to 4 pm, at Carpino Funeral Home, 750 Main Street South, Southbury.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org.
