To the Editor:

I am writing to support Representative Mitch Bolinsky's re-election. This will be his third term and his longevity means he is a more effective voice for Newtown's interests.

Newtown is incredibly lucky because we have three representatives in the house, one for the Second, which we share with parts of Bethel, Redding, and Danbury, and one from the 112th, which we share with all of Monroe, represented by J.P. Sredzinski. But most of all, we have our own district, the 106th, which is Mitch Bolinsky's district. I know for a fact that all three representatives work together for Newtown's interests, but if push comes to shove, Mitch answers only to Newtown.

One thing you can count on from Mitch is his unwavering opposition to any new taxes, which are already way too high. Whatever Mitch proposes, and whatever he votes for, must fit within our existing income structure. And as far as Connecticut's unsustainable debt is concerned, Mitch wants to address that by long-term budgeting, carving our repayments within the existing tax structure. It can be done, and he is the guy to do it.

Vote for Mitch Bolinsky on Election Day, November 8.

Sincerely,

Robert H. Hall
