Charlotte’s Pawtacular Pet Photo Contest, a Halloween costume contest to benefit The CHB Foundation, is open to all family pets. This Facebook event will run through the month of October and the top six pets with the most Likes will be announced on Halloween.
“Charlotte was an animal lover and always dressed in an animal costume for Halloween. She would get a real hoot out of this contest. We are really hoping families will have a lot fun with this and it will help support the foundation in Charlotte’s memory,” said JoAnn Bacon, Charlotte’s mother.
To participate in the contest, please follow these steps:
*Dress your pet in a costume. The send the photo, along with your pet’s name, and a few fun facts about your pet, to email@example.com;
*Send your $10 entry fee per pet through the donate button at charlottehelenbaconfoundation.org/donate; and
*Watch for CHB Foundation to upload your entry to its Facebook page, then vote and encourage friends and family to do the same, by clicking Like under your pet’s photo.
The top six most liked picture by Halloween will win prizes.
First place is a $50 gift card to Petco, and second place is a Charlotte’s Litter collar and leash set.
The third and fourth top finishers will each receive a set of author-signed copies of Charlotte’s Litter books: Good Dogs, Great Listeners and The Dogs of Newtown. And the fifth and sixth top finishers will each receive a Charlotte’s Litter pet bandana.
Organizers ask that only family pets be entered into the contest, “to keep things fair.” Local therapy and celebrity dog friends cannot be entered.
