I attended this rally and noticed that most, if not all our Republican representatives in Hartford seemed to be missing. Just wondering if anyone else thinks it odd? I know they can't possibly attend all public events, but geewiz?

Marilynn Lang was a First Class Lady and Forever Friend of my Mother Carol (Anderson) Altenhof, formerly of Newtown and passed after a long & courageous battle with cancer in 2008. Our Family spent many days with The Lang’s; Briscoe, Sr., Marilynn, Briscoe,Jr., Susan and Fred Lang. We shared a Kindred Spirit of Life with The Lang’s and Briscoe, Sr., Marilynn and Briscoe, Jr. posthumously will forever live in our Hearts and Souls. Surviving the aforementioned are Fred and Susan Lang whom are my Second Family and will be so until I’m called home to be with my Mom and my 2nd Family, The Lang’s whom are sharing a Cold Cocktail with my mother 🙏🏻. Polling shows a majority of Americans support reducing the size of government, rooting out fraud and waste, seeking peace abroad, stopping fentanyl, not having men compete in women's sports, and securing our borders. Given the recent human trafficking of 15 year old girls in Danbury, immigration is not a far off issue. Democrat's reflexive opposition to these 80/20 issues is why their party approval is at an all time low.

The issue is the RR company having no funds to repair the washout downstream. Clearly it is not urgent as they have lived without use of the tracks for months. It is not a question of if this gets fixed, but when, as P&Z acknowledged when they discussed a the reasonable accommodation of a conditional approval. They concern about flow to hydrants is legitimate and the Town should explore eminent domain for a right of way to address the needed culvert. Chicken Little is of two minds suggesting this is good because it prevents development, but also bad in his incessant attacks on Capeci who has been working with department heads, Rep Bolinsky and the Gov's Office to move this forward.
