Departs from Sherwood Island State Park in Westport, arrives via Dodgingtown Road and Sugar Street (Route 302) from Bethel, continues to Main Street South (Route 25), heading to Bridgeport
Annual 60-mile motorcycle ride to honor those lost on 9/11 (registration $30/rider, $30/passenger), fundraiser for Connecticut police, firefighters, and United Way, local first responders will be stationed at Dodgingtown firehouse, 40 South Main Street (Hook & Ladder and Sandy Hook) and Botsford firehouse with flags, public invited to any of those locations and anywhere along the route to wave to riders, American flags and other shows of patriotism encouraged; 203-257-2176, CTunitedride.com.
