Town of Newtown offices and agencies, including C.H. Booth Library and Newtown Senior Center, will be closed on Monday, January 17, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr Day, a federal holiday.
There is no USPS delivery and post office counters will be closed. Post office box customers will be able to access their boxes. FedEx will have a modified service schedule. UPS pickup and delivery will be available, with some modifications, and stores will be open.
Schools will be closed for the day.
