Business background: "My dad started Ricci's 64 years ago on Queen Street," Mr Riccio said of his company's humble beginnings.

Since then, Ricci's has made a name for itself as a staple in Newtown with its main full-service salon, Hero Barbering, Top of the Class salon, and Toni & Guy Hair Dressing Academy - ensuring all clients can enjoy specialty services catered to their needs and budgets.

Three generations later, the thriving family business is still growing its impact to more areas in the beauty and fashion industry.

The last two-and-a-half years have been filled with renovations to Ricci's main salon and academy, but when the neighboring plaza space became available, next to Sal e Pepe, Mr Riccio knew it was the right decision to secure it.

The expansion turned into what is now Ricci's Company Store, which is sponsored by TIGI International and Wella. The new location also has individual rooms attached for its own spa services, brow and lash bar, Medi Spa North, and private bridal suite.

"This is our final phase to it all," Mr Riccio said when describing the new additions.

After two months of remodeling the new area and having a soft opening in early June, Ricci's officially had its grand opening of Ricci's Company Store on Thursday, June 29.

Business focus: Ricci's Company Store is a fully stocked boutique that offers fun fashion accessories, from jewelry to sunglasses, all at inexpensive price points. All of the items showcased in the store for sale have even been handpicked by Liz Riccio.

A number of products from popular hair care lines TIGI, Wella, and Nioxin are available and are always discounted 20 percent off.

Behind Ricci's Company Store is the new private suite, designed to accommodate large groups, like prom or bridal parties. It makes for a quiet spot for guests to have their own space to get ready for their special day.

Further back in the building is a room dedicated just to beauty distributorship. Professionals and Ricci's students-in-training can enjoy the special "school store," as Mr Riccio calls it, to purchase all their needed beauty supplies.

Adjacent to Ricci's Company Store, in its own part of the expansion, is the private spa area.

For the ultimate comfort and relaxation for guests, the space has been divided into three rooms, one being utilized for Medi Spa North services.

Another room is for Ricci's longtime aesthetician, Lisa Pastor, who moved from an island workstation in the main salon to her own quarters.

"She does everything from manicures and pedicures to facials and waxing," Mr Riccio explained.

The third room is for Juliette Mathias from the company Wink, which specializes in everything for eyelashes and eyebrows.

The best part is that the shop and spa services are all open to the public to stop in and enjoy.

Important to know: Mr Riccio says his family has been very blessed being able to deliver "timely and timeless" fashion with Ricci's. He hopes people will enjoy the spa services in their new, tranquil environment, as well as the quality items at discounted prices at Ricci's Company Store.

"What they see today might not be here tomorrow; it really goes by total trends," Mr Riccio said about the Company Store.

He added, "At the end of the day it's about making people feel good about themselves."

Near future promotions and seasonal specials: Ricci's Company Store always has discounted prices, including 20 percent off its hair care and makeup lines. For an introductory special there is 20 percent off everything in store and 40 percent off makeup.

Hours: Ricci's Company Store is currently opened on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm; Thursday and Friday open 9 am to 7 pm; and is closed Sunday and Monday.
