Larissa DeOliveira, the manager of the Cheese Bread Factory, says that when the business was searching for the right location they chose Newtown because of the health-conscious residents.

"I was impressed by how many gluten-free people live here," said Ms DeOliveira.

The pairing was perfect, because all the food the Cheese Bread Factory sells is gluten-free, sugar-free, and yeast-free.

Business focus: "We offer everything from breakfast to sandwiches to salads, as well," Ms DeOliveira explained.

Some items on the menu include the bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast and the American sandwich that consists of a cheeseburger, lettuce, and tomato.

Everything is made in house and many recipes are inspired by authentic Brazilian food. The cheese bread, from which the business get its name, is actually a popular meal in Brazil. Ms DeOliveira said, "It's really delicious and something people enjoy."

Many customers buy the cheese bread the store sells in bulk to take home. Depending on individual preference, it can be purchased fresh, baked and frozen, or unbaked.
