Ashurst Academy of Irish Dance invites the public to join faculty and students for an open house at the dance studio, 3 Simm Lane (Suite 3L1), on Saturday, January 28. The event will run from 1 to 2:15 pm.Attendees will also be invited to try some Irish dancing.their mission statement

 the Ashursts have a mission of helping students "with self-esteem, confidence, balance, stamina, technique, sportsmanship, goal setting, team work ethic and the importance of community with seasonal performances at schools, nursing homes and regional events.",Guests will meet the studio's lead teachers, Craig and Christina Ashurst, both of whom are former leads of "Riverdance" and "Lord of The Dance." opened in June 2016. The school recently celebrated four podium placements and nine dancers in the Top Ten at the 2016 Regional Championships.
