Antiques Show Returning

To Washington Depot

WASHINGTON DEPOT — The Washington Antiques Show, a major fundraiser for Gunn Memorial Library & Museum, will celebrate its 19th year on Saturday, October 1, from 10 am to 6 pm, and on Sunday, October 2,  from 11 am to 5 pm. The show will be presented at Bryan Memorial Town Hall.

The show will present 22 dealers featuring American and continental furniture along with decorative arts.

The show will also feature first-time exhibitors Leatherwood Antiques of Sandwich, Mass., porcelain dealer Jill Fenichell, Inc. of Brooklyn, N.Y., The Nematti Collection of New York City, H.A. Mottai Antiques of Greenwich, and estate jeweler Regalia of Sharon.

A pre-show walk-through led by architect and designer Robert Couturier will take place on Saturday at 9 am.

On Saturday at 2 pm, Woodbury resident Chris Giftos, former chief floral designer and manager of special events at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, will present a lecture and flower arranging demonstration in the Wykeham Room at Wykeham Memorial Library, on Route 47 about one mile from the show’s location. Reservations for both of these events are highly recommended.

Tickets for the preshow walkthrough and lecture/demonstration are $25 each. General daily admission is $10.

Bryan Memorial Town Hall is on Route 47.
