James            Richardson âJ.R.â LeBlanc
James Richardson âJ.R.â LeBlanc, 41, of Newtown, beloved husband of Lisa Darbisi LeBlanc, died unexpectedly on November 6.
J.R. was born on October 24, 1962, in Lincoln, R.I., the son of Norman LeBlanc and Nila Richardson LeBlanc. J.R. was a devoted husband and loving father who was passionate about his family. He graduated from Sacred Heart University and received his MPA from the University of New Haven. He was currently employed by the US District Court. He was also associated with the Newtown Babe Ruth League.
Besides his devoted wife, he is survived by a son, Bret Richardson âBudâ LeBlanc; two daughters, Bianca Lynn âBelleâ LeBlanc, and Julia Marie âJu Juâ LeBlanc, all of Newtown; his father, Norman LeBlanc, and his wife, Sara; his mother, Nila Richardson LeBlanc; two brothers, David LeBlanc and his wife, Danielle, all of Rhode Island, and Daniel LeBlanc of Georgia; a sister, Kathleen Murphy and her husband, James, of Massachusetts; father and mother-in-law, Peter and Patricia Darbisi of Sandy Hook; sisters-in-law, Donna DaMota and her husband, Jack, of Monroe and Denise DâAmore and her husband, William, of Trumbull. He also leaves several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Hamlet.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated November 10 in St Rose of Lima Church, 46 Church Hill Road, Newtown. Interment took place in Mountain Grove Cemetery in Easton.
