The farm photo that ran in the March 23 Way We Were column generated a bit of interest. From Nancy Jones came the background that her great-great-grandfather, George Winton, originally owned the Bennets Bridge Road property. He sold the property to Charles Beardsley in the early 1900s, she said, and the Kearns family owned it recently. Another caller let us know that the barn was also known as the Kearns barn and that Howard Beardsley was related to the Kearns family.
