Series Book Discussion Scheduled
C.H. Booth Library young adult librarian Margaret Brown will lead a panel and discussion on the Twilight vampire-romance series by Stephenie Meyer, Tuesday, October 7, from 5 to 6:30 pm, in the story room on the first floor of the library.
The Twilight series consists of the first novel published in 2005, Twilight; New Moon, published in 2006; Eclipse, published in 2007; and Breaking Dawn, released just this past August. The books have consistently found their ways onto The New York Times Best Sellers list, and Twilight was listed as one of the American Library Associationâs Top Ten Books for Young Adults.
Twilight will be released as a movie in December 2008.
âBefore the movie is released, we want to give all fans of Bella and Edward a chance to talk about these stories with each other,â said Ms Brown. Participants will be able to submit questions and join in the conversation about the books.
Sign up for the free discussion at the main floor desk of the library no later than Monday, October 6, or by calling 426-4533. Pizza will be served.
