WATERBURY — Chabad Lubavitch will be celebrating 12 years in northwest Connecticut with a gala dinner and silent auction on Sunday, December 14. The annual Community Awards Dinner will take place at the Holiday Inn Grand Ballroom, 3580 East Main Street.

The event will begin at 4 pm with cocktails and silent auction, and will celebrate a decade of community service that Chabad Lubavitch has provided to Litchfield County, the Southbury area and the city of Waterbury. Dinner and the program will begin at 5.

As part of the celebration, awards will be presented to Waterbury Police Chief Neil O’Leary, Donald Greenstein, and Dr Peter Jacoby, in recognition of their involvement on behalf of the community.
